   Proposal Description:
   The goals of the proposed research are to explore whether there are potential     racial/ethnic differences in prevalence of and severity of neuropsychiatric       symptoms in persons with Alzheimer's disease from different racial/ethnic         backgrounds, and to determine whether there is invariance in the relation of      neuropsychiatric symptoms to neuropsychological test performance, functional      status, and ApoE status. Examination of potential racial/ethnic differences in    these variables has implications for both assessment and treatment of             Alzheimer's disease.
